In other news, I've been catching up on that TV show "Lost." I really like the premise of the show and how the mythology is slowly being revealed, but the TV show format really bores me sometimes. I mean, when I watch the X-files, the only episodes I really care about are the ones where Mulder and Scully are finding aliens or talking with the Cigarette Smoking Man. I like the overall story, but the standalone episodes are kind of boring to me (not all, just most).

So that's how it is with "Lost." I ended up just skipping most of the backflashes because they are kind of boring and somewhat predictable. I just want to see more people get eaten by the monster or abducted and stuff.

The other thing on my mind is why we don't ever see realistic characters on TV. Sure, they are kind of like us, but they are more attractive than us and also have much funnier/interesting things to say. They also seem to react to emotional extremes anytime something happens. Well, either that or I'm just dead inside. Yeah, I'm probably just dead on the inside.

I guess I just sort of answered my own question. Who wants to watch ordinary people on TV? That's boring.
