So every spring I used to say that to all my friends. I don't know what poem it's from, but I do know it was written by Alfred Lord Tennyson. So spring just abrubptly arrived in the Twin Cities. It seems that just a couple weeks ago it was below freezing and now it's almost 80 outside. I don't get it.

Anyway, I just spent some time planting some stuff in the garden. Hopefully in a few weeks something will pop out of the soil.

Oh, I just got back from Chicago where I played a bunch of shows. 5 shows in 3 days actually. Thanks to Mike Reeb for putting all that together for me. All in all, I had a lot of fun. So far, Chicago crowds are the best. Thanks for making me feel welcome.

I'm getting excited to hit the road this week. It's been too long since I've visited the Windy City and consumed its delicious deep dish pizza. I know that everyone in Chicago has a different opinion regarding the best pizza place in town, but I've never been disappointed by Gino's East. If you know a place I should check out though, feel free to enlighten me.

I sat down to work on some new tunes last night and instead got sucked into the world of youtube. Where else can you watch videos of skateboarding dogs and crazy robot dancers or Kill Bill with Mario Brothers sound effects added? I really like the idea of "mash-up" media (Brokeback to the Future) and the idea of publishing your own web content is just great. It always seemed that the internet fostered a bizarre sense of humor. I guess thought it only appealed to a small society of internet geeks. Guess not.
