I wanted to say thanks to everyone that came out to the Acadia on Saturday for my cd release show. Since I have never put out an album before, I was a little unsure what to expect. I thought it would be me playing for some of my friends and was a little surprised by the fantastic turnout.
I've been playing around Minneapolis for about 2 years now and I've never had so much fun at a show. Usually, my shows consist of me crooning to the bartender for about an hour and then heading home. Apparently, I underestimated the power of the press, namely (and please just skip the first paragraph) City Pages.

The evening was full of high points- me forgetting what key I play my songs in; the pyrotechnics of Beatrix Jar; Chris Koza playing a great new tune "Morning Moon." Anyway, thanks for coming out and I hope to see you all at a show sometime...
