i've got my yoda jammies on
i thought i would take this opportunity to list all the star wars items in my apartment:
1. episode 1 c-3po action figure (with voice chip) 2. clone wars animated dvd 3. luke skywalker kite (2 dollars) 4. the hero with a thousand faces by joseph campbell (with luke skywalker on the cover) 5. episode 2 matching cup and bowl set 6. original trilogy special edition dvd set 7. original trilogy vhs set 8. original trilogy special edition vhs set 9. photograph of darth vader autographed by james earl jones (hanging on wall) 10. photograph of yoda autographed by frank oz (next to wall where it should be hanging) 11. star wars trivial pursuit board game 12. themes from star wars arranged for guitar 13. themes from star wars arranged for piano 14. episode 2 on dvd 15. episode 1 on dvd 16. wampa plush doll (that hoth ice monster that hangs luke upside down in his cave to eat him later but then gets his arm chopped off when luke gets his lightsaber back, which, we never really saw in the original version but was enhanced in an extended cgi scene in the two subsequent special editions. i'll never figure out why luke runs out of the cave instead of finishing off the wampa and then hanging out in his house. y'know. reading all of his good comics and waiting for han solo to pick him up so they can go to the mall and pretend to not pay attention to girls) 17. knights of the old republic pc game 18. star wars: galaxies pc game 19. x-wing verses tie fighter pc game 20. shadows of the empire n64 game this is for all of you who doubted my geekdom.
Comments:
I will never doubt your geekdom again. In fact I shall write poems about the geekiness that is you. JK. If you even knew how big of a geek I was you would cease to admit you know me. Did you say you had a lightsaber cause I don't remember reading that and you should definitly get one of those
I'd say you're total geek, except your collection seems a bit too small (compared to mine). I have to admit, the autographed pics go beyond what I have, but I DO have several autographed books and I HAVE talked to Anthony Daniels and seen Billy Dee Williams from about 50 ft. away. Sorry about the "at least you don't work with computers" comment, but hey, that hits closer to home than you know. Great show and good luck!
